And we’re off!
Our first month back has quickly gone by! Please remember to register at
www.CenterStageDA.com for email updates. By this point, all students should be
dressed in the appropriate attire for their classes and have the appropriate
shoes. Dress code is a very important part of your child’s dance education, so
please see that they are dressed for class. Hair must be off the neck for ALL
classes and Ballet students should wear hair neatly secured in a bun.
Costume Deposits & Measurements
Costume deposits and student measurements are due between October 1 – October
15. A tape measure is available at the studio if you do not have one. Please
print your costume measurement form from our website. All measurements are due
to the studio by October 31, 2009. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Costumes will be ordered
according to the measurements written. You should add length to the true
measurement if you anticipate growth by June. It will be your responsibility to
have alterations done if the costume is too small or large. Costumes and
deposits are non-refundable. In the event a costume must be exchanged for size,
all additional charges, including shipping, will be billed to your account.
CSDA Shorts Sale
CSDA shorts are in stock and on sale. Take $5 off from October 1-10 only. Hurry,
once they are gone…they’re gone!
Tuesday Schedule Change & Lyrical Class Is Back
The Tuesday 8:30-9:30 Tap class will be moving to the 7:30-8:30 time slot. Level
IV/V Lyrical will begin Tuesday, October 6. Class will be held from 8:30-9:30.
Any student enrolled in both Contemporary & Lyrical will be offer the lyrical
class at a 50% discount. That is just $24/month. Lyrical class does have a
prerequisite. Dancers must be taking ballet along side the lyrical class. Email

Hatboro Holiday Parade
The annual Hatboro Holiday Parade will be held on Sunday, November 22nd. Center
Stage Dance Academy will be making its 8th consecutive appearance and all the
students of CSDA are invited and encouraged to attend. Warm-up order forms are
coming soon. Students should wear CSDA apparel while marching in the parade. New
CSDA shirts are coming in childrens’ sizes to match the brown CSDA shirts that
came out in 2008, Students will be responsible for providing black bottoms. You
may purchase your CSDA T-shirt as soon as they arrive to the studio. There is
only one…that’s right…just one rehearsal for the parade this year.. Creative
Movement and Combo I & II riding on the truck need not attend rehearsal. The
rehearsal is Saturday, November 21. Check the online calendar for times.
All parade details will be given to participants as soon as it arrives to the studio. Rehearsal on Saturday, November 21 will be held outside in the back parking lot of the studio. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
NEW CSDA T-shirts are Coming!!!!
Center Stage Dance Academy will be unveiling a new kid size T-shirt to match the
adult shirts that came out last year!!! T-shirts are due into the studio the end
of October. T-shirts will be available in all kids’ sizes.
Tuition
Tuition is payable monthly in advance, due by the 1st of each month. No
individual statements will be sent out unless you are overdue. However, there
will be a reminder email sent out to everyone who has registered on the Center
Stage website. A $10.00 late fee will be added after the 5th of the month for
any outstanding balance. This includes checks that are dated on or before the
5th of the month and received on or after the 6th of each month. No student will
be permitted to attend class if tuition is more than 30 days past due.
Parent Observation
Please respect that observing class is only permitted during the designated
observation weeks. We the staff know and understand you enjoy watching your
children, however the distractions that occur due to extra bystanders does not
allow teachers to keep the entire class focused. This includes standing at the
edge of the waiting area during class. In addition, please do not plan to come
in and pick-up your children more than 10 minutes before their class is
finished. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this matter.
Costume Party
Center Stage Dance Academy will again have a Halloween Costume Party. The
date is set for October 24, 2009. This year we will be collecting Thanksgiving
food items for those less fortunate. Invitations can be found in your studio
mailboxes, if you do not plan on attending the party and would like to help out
with the food drive, please drop off any of the following items by October 24.
Any nonperishable food item for a Holiday meal will be accepted. Examples: Stove top stuffing, pie filling, muffin mix, candy, canned vegetables, etc. Let’s all work together to help out those with needs this holiday season.
Gianni’s Fundraiser
Everyone will be receiving the sensationally sweet & pizza fundraising
packet the week of October 5. You can earn 2O% of your total sales to help out
with your costumes or tuition or logo wear. Orders will be delivered Thursday,
November, 4. Check your mailboxes for more details.
Studio Open
The studio will be open Saturday, October 31. Dress in your regular dance
attire. Please enjoy a safe and Happy Halloween!!!!
